About this event

Join We Exist and WRC for an engaging discussion around LGBTQ+ identities and promising practices for working with this population. We will be talking about: up to date terminology, intersecting identities through an LGBTQ+ lens, and how to be an affirming service provider despite the unconscious biases and systemic oppression that we have learned. We invite you to bring any questions you have (even the ones that aren't so politically correct) or submit them ahead of time-- don't worry, we know confidentiality can be important here and we value all perspectives. Hope to see you soon! Email Your Questions to: Traininginfo@westsiderc.org

This training is meant to be interactive and will be done in the zoom meeting format with a group no larger than 50 in size. The sessions will not be recorded. Please only register for on of the sessions. Both sessions will contain the same content. If you register and are no longer able to make it, please cancel your registration through eventbrite to make space for others who are interested.

The zoom link will be sent out on Monday, April 12th. These sessions are for WRC Service Providers. Additional sessions will be scheduled in the future for WRC staff, families and individuals served by WRC.
